- XAnim Release 2.69.7.8 (Now with Audio Support)
-
-
- XAnim is a program that can display animations/videos of various
- formats on systems running X11. The intent was/is to develop a
- base player that allows new animation types to be added as they
- are developed.
-
- Please see the file compile.help for instructions on setting up
- and compiling XAnim. I'm working on simplifying this at the moment
- so it should improve in future revisions.
-
- The most up-to-date revisions of XAnim will always be available at:
-
- http://www.portal.com/~podlipec/home.html "The XAnim Home Page"
-
- or by anonymous to ftp to:
-
- ftp.shell.portal.com:/pub/podlipec/xanim*
-
- NOTE: also ftp.portal.com [156.151.3.4]
-
- You can also edit the file xanim_config.h to setup up your favorite
- default conditions. Most of these can be overridden at run time.

- XAnim Release Mailing List:
-
- I have had a mailing list setup that anyone may join. It is
- used mainly for announcing new XAnim revisions as they come out.
-
- To Subscribe/Unsubscribe send email to:
-
- xanim-request@shell.portal.com
-
- with the word subscribe or unsubscribe in either the Subject or
- Message Body. Unfortunately, this part of the list maintenance
- isn't automated yet, so bare with me as I usually make the actual
- additions every couple of days.
-
- NOTE: Bug reports should still be sent to:
-
- podlipec@wellfleet.com
- or
- podlipec@shell.portal.com
-
