- HELP SCAN TABLE

- With the introduction of several new SCAN indicators the default display
- for the SCAN command will now show abbreviated forms of the various
- indicators. Novice users may view the long form of the indicators using the
- option (DETAIL) prefixed to the SCAN command.

- The long and abbreviated forms for the SCAN indicators, and the order in
- which they will appear in the SCAN table, are:

- Must Convert Must Conv
- Binary Bin
- Urgent Urg
- Private Priv
- Registered Reg
- Return Receipt Rec
- Converted Conv
- Collect Col

- HELP MUST CONVERT
- -----------------
- The MUST CONVERT indicator will be displayed for all messages that must be
- converted from one character set to another in order to be read by the
- user. In this situation the 'Must Conv' (long form 'Must Convert')indicator
- will be displayed in the SCAN table entry for the message.

- HELP BINARY
- -----------
- If a message delivered to a user contains one or more binary attachments
- the scan table entry for that message will contain the indicator 'Bin
- (xxk)' (long form 'Binary (xxk)') where xx is the file size rounded to the
- nearest kilobyte. If there are multiple binary attachments in the message
- the (xxk) will represent the total size of all binary attachments.

- HELP CONVERTED
- --------------
- If a message had to be converted from the character set in which it was
- posted in order to be delivered the SCAN table entry for that message will
- contain the indicator 'Conv' (long form 'Converted'). This situation will
- only occur if messages have originated from a Foreign Domain or are being
- delivered from an ASCII-8 or ASCII-7E user to an autodelivery station
- profiled for ASCII-7.

- HELP COLLECT
- ------------
- If an EDI message has been delivered with the COLLECT option the SCAN table
- entry for that message will contain the 'Col' (long form 'Collect')
- indicator. Note that only EDI messages can be sent COLLECT and this option
- is only available for TradeRoute subscribers.
