  3. For our TradeRoute subscribers the SCAN IPM (inter personal message)
  4. command is used to select all IPM messages.
  5.  
  6. All Envoy 100 messages are classified as IPM unless they were delivered
  7. using the EDI command. It can be combined with other operators to select
  8. certain classes of IPM messages (e.g. UNREAD, SINCE, FROM, etc.).

  10. If the scan command is executed without the IPM or EDI operator all
  11. messages are selected.
