  1.                                  Purgetimer

  3. The purgetimer (PUR) feature enables you to request that Envoy 100
  4. automatically PURGE <C022> the UNFILED <C012> messages in your mailbox
  5. after a certain number of days.  It does not affect the messages residing
  6. in your mailbox that you have not read, nor the messages you have filed.
  7.  
  8. If you currently have a purgetimer in effect, you can only use SET to
  9. reduce that number -- you cannot raise it.  The maximum purgetimer is 120
  10. days.  If you decide you do not wish to change your timer after all, simply
  11. press return in response to the prompt, and your current setting (if any)
  12. will remain in effect.

  14. Note:  Your organization may not allow you to SET your purgetimer;
  15.        Envoy 100 will inform you of the fact if you attempt to ALTER
  16.        this field.
