  3. The SET Command enables you to ALTER certain fields of your personal
  4. profile. The fields you may ALTER are:
  5.  
  6.      AUTOCOPY          RECEIPT          CHARACTER.SET
  7.      CONTROLS          SIGNON           POSTAL.ADDRESS
  8.      NAME              STATUS           ALIAS
  9.      PHONES            ZONE             LANGUAGE
  10.      PURGETIMER

  12. If you enter SET at the Command? Prompt, you are given the opportunity to
  13. see your current profile, then prompted for the name of the field you wish
  14. to alter.  You will then be prompted for the information pertinent to that
  15. field, and Envoy 100 will confirm your new setting and indicate the
  16. presence of an error, and prompt you for replacement information. Some
  17. fields can be altered `temporarily' -- to be in effect during the current
  18. session only; when you sign off, your previous setting will be back in
  19. effect.  You can use the SET Command again to remove the temporary setting.

  21. Once you are familiar with the field names and their options, you may wish
  22. to bypass the SET prompting sequence and enter all the pertinent
  23. information in a single Command line.  For example, SET AUTOCOPY ON. You
  24. can even request a temporary setting with one Command; for example, SET
  25. AUTOCOPY OFF (TEMP).
