- The SCAN Command produces a chronological table of information about UNREAD
- messages residing in your mailbox. SCAN can also be used in conjunction
- with one or more options to display information about specific Messages and
- SAVED workspaces.

- Command? SCAN Displays a chronological table of messages.
- Every time the SCAN command is used in a session,
- the scan number gets incremented.

- Command? SCAN! Displays a table of all the messages currently in
- your mailbox without the More...prompt every 20
- lines.

- Command? SCAN ALL Displays a table of all the messages in your mailbox
- including unread, read, unfiled and filed messages.

- Command? SCAN BEFORE Aug 12
- Displays a table of all messages you received
- before the specified date.

- Command? SCAN reports Displays a table of all messages you filed under
- a specified filename.

- Command? SCAN FROM M.WHITE
- Displays a table of all messages you received on a
- specified date.

- Command? SCAN SINCE Sept 1
- Displays a table of all messages you received on
- and after the date specified.

- Command? SCAN SUBJECT 'vacation'
- Displays a table of all messages you received with
- a specified 'string' in the Subject field.

- Command? SCAN UNFILED Displays a table of all messages you have not filed.

- Command? SCAN SAVED Displays an abbreviated scan table of your saved
- message names in alphabetical order.

- Command? SCAN PURGED Displays all the messages you have purged within
- the last 24 hours.

- Command? SCAN SAVED FILE [contracts]
- Displays a table of all your saved messages filed
- under the specified [filename].

- Command? SCAN MSG ABCD-1234-2024
- Displays a scan table consisting of a single line
- indicating the message prsently in your mailbox.

- Command? SCAN (SUMMARY)
- Advises you of the number of unread messages in
- your mailbox, e.g. You have 3 messages.

- Command? SCAN BEFORE Sept 1 FROM M.WHITE
- You can combine the options of a scan command to
- be more specific in searching for certain types of
- messages.
