  29. The Pebbles project is exploring how Personal Digital Assistants (PDAs),
  30. such as the 3Com PalmPilot or a device running the Microsoft Windows CE
  31. operating system, can be used when they are communicating with a
  32. "regular" personal computer (PC), with other PDAs, and with computerized
  33. devices such as telephones, radios, microwave ovens and factory equipment.
