  12. Currency is a currency database and conversion utility.
  13.  
  14. Installation
  15.  
  16.    As usual.
  17.    If you are upgrading from an earlier version of "Currency" and
  18. you find any problem (this is not foreseen), you may have a
  19. database compatibility problem. In this case, just delete Currency 
  20. (which automatically will delete also the database) and load it again.

  22. Full and reduced version
  23.  
  24.      Two versions of "Currency"are distributed. The first one,
  25. distributed in archive currex.zip, includes support for 174 currencies.
  26. The second one, distributed in currred.zip,  is a reduced version and 
  27. supports 66 currencies. Both are free and daily supported. 
  28.  
  29.      To update Currency it is only required to download a small 
  30. update database (either cupdate.pdb or cupdred.pdb), or re-install
  31. the application.

  78.   with the spot rates published by the European Central Bank. Since this 
  79.   service will be provided at no cost, it may be interrupted at any
  80.   moment without prior notice.

  83. Configuration details:
  84.  
  85. - The display can be configured tapping the "Select" button.
  86.   Use < and > to add/remove currencies to the active display list.
  87. - The details for each currency can be fully configured taping the
  88.   currency code or using the  "Settings/currency" option. Editable fields 
  89.   are clearly marked.
  90. - In the "Settings/Currency" screen select preferred reference
  91.   currency, which can be optionaly used to update exchange rates.
  92. - The default button in the "Settings/Currency" screen recalls 
  93.   the system default value for the displayed currencies.
  94. - The "Reset/Reset all currencies" menu in the "Settings/Currency" 
  95.   screen resets all currencies (INCLUDING user defined currencies) 
  96.   to system default values.
  97. - Currency keeps track of two configuration profiles.
  98.   Each profile is defined by the set of displayed currencys, the
  99.   format options (decimal and thousand separator symbols).

  101.   1. The actual configuration is the one in use and which is kept when 
  102.      switching between applications. 
  103.   2. The "user default" profile can be defined by the user by setting
  104.      the desired configuration and then selecting the menu option 
  105.      "Display/Set as default" in the "Configure display" screen.
  106.   3. The "User default" profile can be restored at any time either in 
  107.      the main screen using the "Settings/User default" menu or in the 
  108.      Configure Display screen using the "Display/Restore default" 
  109.      option.

  111. - The download of a new prc image in order to update exchange rates will
  112.   not affect user defined settings (display configuration,  number format and
  113.   user defined currencies). Only the exchange rates of the default currencies
  114.   will be updated IF they are newer (more recent) than those in the 
  115.   currency database.
  116.   
  117. - Validity period for rates in use can be set at the "Settings/Validity" 
  118. menu. After the specified period of time, a warning symbol is displayed
  119. near the currency code.
