  11. Designed for 3Com PalmPilot and Palm III devices, 2xCalc
  12. is a dual Currency Calculator, based on two main forms :
  13. - the Calculator,
  14. - the Currency List.
  15.  
  16. The Calculator features :
  17. - two displays for simultaneous currency calculations
  18. - two pop-up triggers for instant currency selections
  19. - two calculation modes : standard and RPN 
  20.   (Reverse Polish Notation, used in many HP calculators)

  22. The Currency List features :
  23. - 24 (3x8) simultaneous currency informations
  24. - individual pop-up forms to edit all currency details :
  25.   currency symbol, country, rate and date
  26. - selection checkboxes to enable/disable currency selection
  27.   from the main Calculator form triggers.

  33. The Calculator form includes a user friendly keyboard for 
  34. fast entry and instant Currency Display Swap.
  35.  
  36. The following double precision Maths operations are supported : 
  37. +, -, x, /, +/- and %, as well as Clear and Sto/Rcl Memory.

  39. Before leaving, 2xCalc saves all calculator informations 
  40. in its database for next launch.

  44. Currencies
  45.  
  46. 2xCalc preselects 3 lists of 8 currencies according to your Country :
  47. - for most European countries, currency rates are Euro based, 
  48.   i.e. EUR rate is 1.0000 and others are XXX/EUR
  49. - for other countries, currency rates are US Dollars based,
  50.   i.e. USD rate is 1.0000 and others are XXX/USD
  51.  
  52. The reference currency can be changed via a simple pop-up menu,
  53. so you can set rates according to any currency.

  55. 2xCalc saves any information you change in its database.

  59. Usefull Tips
  60.  
  61. Install 2xCalc like any other application, with the Desktop install tool.
  62. You do not need to delete the previous (v.1.0) version if it already exists:
  63. Upgrade will also take care of registration informations.

  65. To install 2xCalc as your default calculator, you just need to :
  66. - launch the "Prefs" application
  67. - select the "Buttons" trigger
  68. - replace the "Calc" settings by "2xCalc", from the list.
