  3. + This software (Compass 2.x) is SHAREWARE.  You may evaluate this software
  4.   for 30 days without any obligation.  Use after 30 days requires purchasing
  5.   a license.
  6. + This software is distributed AS IS and without any express or implied
  7.   warranties.
  8. + The author is not responsible for any damages whatsoever incurred before,
  9.   during, or after the use of this software.
  10. + This software cannot be resold or used in any profit-generating activities
  11.   without the author expressed written permission.
  12. + This software may be freely distributed, provided that:
  13.   a. Such distribution includes only the original archive.  You may not
  14.      alter, delete, or add any files in the distribution archive.
  15.   b. No money is charged to the person receiving the software, beyond
  16.      reasonable cost of packaging and other overhead.

  19. Single-User License
  20. ===================
  21. Each Single-User License allows:
  22. The registered user and ONLY the registered user to install and run the
  23. software (Compass 2.x) on any number of workstations.  When the registered
  24. user does not plan to run the software on a workstation, he/she must remove
  25. the software (including the registration file) from the workstation.
  26. A registered user must be a person and can not be a company or an organization.
  27. The software may not be installed on a server computer.  To install the
  28. software on a server computer, you must purchase enough number of
  29. Single-Workstation Licenses (see below) to cover all workstations that have
  30. access to the server.

  33. Single-Workstation License
  34. ==========================
  35. Each Single-Workstation License allows:
  36. Any number of users to run the software (Compass 2.x) on one and ONLY one
  37. workstation.  The software may be installed only on one workstation.
  38. If the user wants to run the software on another workstation, he/she must
  39. remove the software (including the registration file) from the original
  40. workstation BEFORE he/she installs the software on another workstation.
  41. If the software is to be installed on a server computer, you must purchase
  42. enough number of Single-Workstation Licenses to cover all workstations that
  43. have access to the server.  For example, if there are 10 workstations,
  44. which have access to the server, you need 10 Single-Workstation Licenses
  45. to be able to legally install the software on the server.
