  5. Welcome to Highway Manager Pro!

  8. Highway Manager is a gas mileage application that supports both metric and 
  9. imperial measurements. The program gives multiple statistics: liters/gallons 
  10. per 100 km/miles, amount per 100 km/miles, km/miles per liter/gallon, total 
  11. km/miles and total amount. You can also find out how much you spent in a 
  12. given date range and for a given category. Mileage can be entered as absolute 
  13. and relative distances. Decimal points can be configured. Support for up to 10
  14. currencies. Support for up to 10 vehicles. The program also supports up to 15 
  15. trips per vehicle. A trip allows you to keep track of where your money was 
  16. spent and get statistics for the trip only. You can also keep track of car 
  17. maintenance and insurance payments and discover the real cost of ownership 
  18. of your car. Notes can be attached to any entry, which can function as both 
  19. a trip log and to keep track of business mileage to use for tax purposes. 
  20. Fast data entry via Graffiti. All data can be exported to host computer with 
  21. provided conduit (Windows). Documentation full of examples on usage.

  38. 2 - Installation Instructions
  39. -----------------------------

  41. - If you are upgrading from Highway Manager Lite:
  42.     - it is not necessary to delete it before installing this version.
  43.     - if you have entered different currencies:
  44.         * go to the currency screen and write down the currencies listed
  45.           and their values. After upgrading to HM Pro the first thing you
  46.           should do is go to the currency screen and re-enter the currencies
  47.           you had in the same order as previously. This will ensure that
  48.           entries you have in different currencies are retained as before.

  50. - Install HM Pro like any other PalmPilot application
  51.  
  52. - Enter your registration code via the "Register..." menu item under
  53.   the "Help" menu.

  81. column (can toggle between currencies and categories). New entries can be pre-filled

  84. run on specific days.

  86. v2.4 - June 29th, 1999 - Right justified fields, Amount column header will cycle 
  87. through different statistics, last used category is now remembered.

  89. v2.31 - June 15th, 1999 - Can now change individual units by tapping on the relevant 
  90. column header (distances and volume). Now remember the last currency used.

  93. export of category information by conduit. Fixed: minor problems, no more 
  94. rounding errors when using miles and gallons, conduit "show stats" now 
  95. works for absolute distances.

  101. include Km/L (Mi/G) and L/100 (G/100) stats for each entry.
