<P>After ArtSMark starting the icon appears in the lower right corner of the screen.
Click the icon to open the pop-up menu with the following items: </P>

<LI>About ArtSMark - calls dialog box with information about program, vendor and developers; </LI>
<LI>Help - calls this help file; </LI>
<LI>Options - customizes program options (if enabled); </LI>
<LI>Update database - refreshes ArtSMark database by rereading files from the installation directory; </LI>
<LI>Save BookMark - saves the state of current active application; </LI>
<LI>More BookMarks - displays the names of saved bookmarks sorted by application names. You may select any of these items to restore the state of the chosen application;</LI>
<LI>Exit - saves necessary files and closes ArtSMark. </LI>
<LI>Other items (optional) - displays the bookmarks names saved to the root menu </LI>

<B><A NAME="save_mark">Save bookmarks </A></B>
<P>To save the state of current active application select "Save BookMark" in ArtSMark menu. The program recognizes the state (dialog boxes, windows and so on) and after the pause offers to save this bookmark under some name. You may change the name. By default the bookmark is saved to "More BookMarks\[current application]\[this bookmark name]" item. You may move it to the root menu (for fast access). To do it select corresponding checkbox in the offered dialog box.</P>
<P>Certainly, you may exit without saving the bookmark (click 'No' button in the dialog box).</P>
