- 1. GENERAL INFORMATION
- ----------------------
- Zing Client is a patented product created by the Zing Network, Inc.
- Zing provides amazing content while relieving the frustration of the "World Wide Wait".
- When you browse the web with Zing , you instantly experience visual images, animations,
- news and more, while waiting for your web pages to load. All of this is done without
- slowing down your web browsing. Zing content can also be viewed when you are not on-line
- by using the "off-browser" mode.

- 2. SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS
- ----------------------
- Zing Client 1.0 version requires at least the following:
- 1. A Pentium class PC with 16 MB of RAM
- 2. Windows 95 or Windows NT 4.0
- 3. Microsoft IE 3.x/4.x or Netscape Navigator 3.x/4.x
- 4. Internet connection, either network or dial-up
- 5. At least 15 MB of disk space for programs and content
- 6. VGA video, 640x480 resolution, 256 colors

- 3. INSTALL PROCEDURE
- --------------------

- If you downloaded the program from our Web site, click on the
- self-extracting EXE file. The setup program
- will launch automatically at the conclusion of the
- self-extracting process.

- If you are installing from a CD, insert the CD into drive
- a: and run a:\setup.exe
-
- Please follow the installation directions. If you follow the default settings,
- the necessary files will be installed in a directory called:
- C:\Program Files\Zing\
-
- The program will launch automatically at the
- conclusion of the setup.

- 4. HOW TO RUN ZING
- -------------
- Zing client is seamlessly integrated into your IE or Netscape
- browser and it runs automatically whenever the browser runs.
-
- When you close your IE or Netscape browser,Zing also
- goes away.

- You can launch the Zing client when you are not browsing from the Windows tool bar
- (click on the red chili pepper) or from the Windows start button.

- 5. UNINSTALL PROCEDURE
- ----------------------
- To remove Zing from your computer:
-
- a. Click the Start button, point to Programs| ,
- and then click Uninstall.
- OR
- a. Click the Start button, point to Settings, and then click
- Control Panel.
- b. Double-Click the Add/Remove Programs icon.
- c. Select " Client", and then click Add/Remove.

- NOTE: Uninstall may not be able to delete all files related to
- Zing. To completely remove all Zing files , you will need to reboot your machine
- after you run uninstall.
- After reboot, you can delete the directory where
- was installed:
- for example c:\Program Files\Zing\
