  7. Welcome to Zing  - the fastest way to get amazing content on the Internet.

  9. In this document, we've included general information
  10. and contact information.  If you note any bugs in the  
  11. program, or if you have any suggestions
  12. for improvements, please email us and tell us about it.  With your
  13. help we will create a great product to relieve the boredom of the 
  14. "World Wide Wait".

  25. 1. GENERAL INFORMATION

  27. Zing Client  is a patented product created by the Zing  Network, Inc. 
  28. Zing provides amazing content while relieving the frustration of the "World Wide Wait". 
  29. When you browse the web with Zing , you instantly experience visual images, animations, 
  30. news and more, while waiting for your web pages to load.  All of this is done without 
  31. slowing down your web browsing.  Zing content can also be viewed when you are not on-line 
  32. by using the "off-browser" mode.

  37. 2. SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS
  38. ----------------------
  39. Zing Client 1.0  version requires at least the following: 
  40.    1. A Pentium class PC with 16 MB of RAM
  41.    2. Windows 95 or Windows NT 4.0
  42.    3. Microsoft IE 3.x/4.x or Netscape Navigator 3.x/4.x
  43.    4. Internet connection, either network or dial-up
  44.    5. At least 15 MB of disk space for programs and content
  45.    6. VGA video, 640x480 resolution, 256 colors

  48. 3. INSTALL PROCEDURE
  49. --------------------

  51. If you downloaded the program from our Web site, click on the 
  52. self-extracting EXE file.  The   setup program 
  53. will launch automatically at the conclusion of the 
  54. self-extracting process.

  56. If you are installing from a CD, insert the CD into drive
  57. a: and run a:\setup.exe
  58.  
  59. Please follow the installation directions. If you follow the default settings,
  60. the necessary files will be installed in a directory called: 
  61.     C:\Program Files\Zing\  
  62.  
  63. The program will launch automatically at the 
  64. conclusion of the setup.

  67. 4. HOW TO RUN ZING
  68. -------------
  69. Zing client is seamlessly integrated into your IE or Netscape
  70. browser and it runs automatically whenever the browser runs.
  71.  
  72. When you close your IE or Netscape browser,Zing also
  73. goes away.

  75. You can launch the Zing client when you are not browsing from the Windows tool bar 
  76. (click on the red chili pepper)  or from the Windows start button.

  81. 5. UNINSTALL PROCEDURE
  82. ----------------------
  83. To remove Zing from your computer:
  84.  
  85. a. Click the Start button, point to Programs| , 
  86.    and then click Uninstall.
  87. OR 
  88. a. Click the Start button, point to Settings, and then click 
  89.    Control Panel.
  90. b. Double-Click the Add/Remove Programs icon.
  91. c. Select "  Client", and then click Add/Remove.

  93. NOTE: Uninstall may not be able to delete all files related to
  94.  Zing.  To completely remove all Zing  files , you will need to reboot your machine 
  95. after you run uninstall.
  96. After reboot, you can delete the directory where   
  97. was installed:
  98.    for example c:\Program Files\Zing\
