  15. Was ist AnPoMSVC? 
  16.  
  17. AnPoMSVC erm╨ñglich der Multimediaerweiterung von "OS/2 warp Version 3" 8/16bit 
  18. Windows AVIs abzuspielen. Weitere Codierverfahren (CODEC) wie Cinepack AVI und 
  19. evtl. Quicktime sind geplant, ob dies verwirklicht wird h╨öngt 1. vom Bedarf und 
  20. 2. von der Anzahl von "Unterst╨ætzern" ab.

  22. Ich bin ein armer hungernder Student der Informatik ;-), wer die Entwicklung 
  23. dieser Software unterst╨ætzen will darf mir einen Geldbetrag in beliebiger H╨ñhe 
  24. ╨æberweisen oder zuschicken. Ab DM 15.- werde ich mich dann mit dem zusenden der 
  25. neuesten Version(en) daf╨ær bedanken (email oder Fido (crashmail)Adresse oder 
  26. auch Post Adresse nicht vergessen anzugeben!). Meine eigenen Adressen stehen 
  27. unten. Wenn sich in diesem CODEC keine weitereren Fehler zeigen, wird es bald 
  28. eine auf Geschwindigkeit optimierte Version geben.

  30. Installation: 
  31.  
  32. "Multimedia Installation" aus dem Multimedia Ordner von OS/2 ╨ñffnen und als 
  33. Quelle das entsprechende Laufwerk und Pfad angeben. Den CODEC markieren und 
  34. "Installieren" dr╨æcken um die Installation zu starten. Von diesem Text wird 
  35. w╨örend der Installation ein Objekt in den Multimedia Ordner gelegt.

  37. F╨ær Anregungen oder Fehlerberichte bin ich immer zu haben! In allen F╨öllen 
  38. bitte immer CPU, RAM, Bussystem (ISA VL EISA PCI MCA) und Grafikkarte 
  39. (Chipsatz)+Grafiktreiber mit angeben damit ich mir ein Bild von der verwendeten 
  40. Hardware machen kann, um diesen CODEC entsprechend zu optimieren.

  76.  1. Bei manchen AVIs gehen Ton und Bild nur stockend vorran. Dies ist ein 
  77.     Fehler in den Treibern der Sound-Blaster Karten (11.12.94). Diesen Fehler 
  78.     kann man zumindest weitgehend minimieren indem man den DMA-Puffer des 
  79.     Treibers verkleinert.

  102. What is AnPoMSVC? 
  103.  
  104. AnPoMSVC is an extention to "OS/2 warp 3" enabling OS/2s multimedia extention 
  105. to play 8/16bit Window AVIs. Furthermore there are more CODECs ([Video]Coder 
  106. Decoder) like Cinepack AVI and perhaps Quicktime in planing. The further 
  107. development depends on demand and the number of supporters.

  109. I'm a poor and hungry student ;-), if you want to support this Software, please 
  110. send me an amount of money wich you think it's worth. For more then 9.90$ or DM 
  111. 15.00 I will send you a copy(ies) of my newest CODECs. Don't forget your 
  112. address! (email or FIDO(crashmail) address, snail-mail or post address is 
  113. although ok. Postcards are fine too, if you note your email address on it you 
  114. get the newest versions thru email) My own addresses are below. If there are no 
  115. more errors in this code, there will be a more speed optimized version of this 
  116. codec next weeks.

  118. Installation

  120. Open "multimedia installation" in multimedia folder and set source to the 
  121. position in wich you placed the files. Select the items you want and press 
  122. "install", that's all. A object of this text is placed in multimedia folder 
  123. during installation.

  164.  1. Some AVIs are playing by fits and starts. This is a bug in Sound-Blaster 
  165.     drivers (12/11/94). You can minimize this error by reducing DMA buffers of 
  166.     this driver.
