  1. Winter Term Registration at the Computer Aided
  2. Learning Center -- CALC -- opens on December 1st this
  3. year, with classes beginning on January 22nd. Brief
  4. descriptions of these classes are provided below, but
  5. you will want to refer to the complete Winter Term
  6. Course Catalog on GEnie Page 174 for those that
  7. interest you. You can apply for admission to CALC and
  8. register for your courses on GEnie Page 179.

  10. The GED Preparation Program in CALC has been running
  11. for a year now. This 10-week program is open to
  12. anyone wanting to prepare for the high school
  13. equivalency exam. There is no charge for our GED
  14. program, although you must be a member of CALC.
  15.   
  16. We just got a letter from one of CALC's GED
  17. graduates, Seifert Richard, who recently passed the
  18. exam and received his diploma. He is one happy guy.
