  1. We did our own spin on a Swimsuit Edition this month
  2. in celebration of GEnie's upcoming Hot Summer Nights
  3. in August. Although you may find it somewhat less
  4. sensational than other publications' well-publicized
  5. editions, we had fun with it and hope you do, too.

  7. One thing you must admit: That Independence Day Gang
  8. sure gets around. LiveWire's writers and artists had
  9. some interesting discussions about what people such
  10. as George Washington, Ben Franklin, and Betsy Ross
  11. might have thought of modern technology, and some of
  12. our musings are reflected in articles in this issue
  13. -- in particular, 5th Annual Hot Summer Nights, and
  14. the Macintosh and *StarShip* Amiga RoundTable
  15. stories.

  56. You've undoubtedly heard about broadcast multimedia,
  57. and you may even have visited the NBC RoundTable on
  58. GEnie.

  60. Multimedia broadcasting is definitely on the horizon,
  61. and a partnership between the CTV Television Network,
  62. Canada's largest private broadcaster, and GEnie,
  63. paves the way for Canadians (among others) to attain
  64. direct access to some of that country's most
  65. influential people, and provides you with an
  66. opportunity help make some of the decisions about
  67. this developing technology.
