  1. It seems that every day more business people come
  2. to appreciate the benefits of online
  3. communications. Just think: No more phone-tag games
  4. or voice mail recordings to sit through; no more
  5. expensive overnight delivery to get a piece of
  6. paper across a continent -- or even an ocean, for
  7. that matter. If you're one of the savvy Information
  8. Age folks, and if you include your GE Mail or GEnie
  9. Internet address on your paperwork or promotional
  10. items, GEnie would like to thank you in a
  11. business-like way. After all, as someone I once
  12. worked for was fond of saying, "Money isn't the
  13. name of the game, it's just the way we keep score."

  15. You can increase your score by sending a sample of
  16. your printed business card, letterhead stationery,
  17. fax cover sheet, Yellow Pages listing, newspaper
  18. advertisement, or promotional item such as a ball
  19. point pen or key chain -- pretty much any business
  20. item that shows your GE Mail or GEnie Internet
  21. address -- to GEnie. You'll be rewarded with a
  22. GEnie online usage credit of $6 ($8 if you hail
  23. from Canada) for each of up to two such samples.

  32. Consumer News Magazine (MCN) and SPECTRO Oils of
  33. America have both chosen GEnie's Motorcycling
  34. RoundTable as their official online computer
  35. service.

  37. This means that motorcycling buffs can now
  38. communicate directly with MCN's editors and stay
  39. abreast of the lastest technological developments
  40. from SPECTRO Oils. MCN editors and SPECTRO Oil reps
  41. are already answering questions on the Motorcycling
  42. Bulletin Board, uploading valuable files to the
  43. Library, and holding forth in monthly Real-Time

  50. issues of LiveWire will feature news of several
  51. debuting services, all of which are either open now
  52. and will be real soon now. These include our

  55. the magazine; go exploring online in the meantime.

  68. If you're reading a Multimedia edition now,
  69. remember to look for the June File Finder, a text
  70. file located in the directory on your system where
  71. you stored this issue. The File Finder is built
  72. into the text edition; check the contents page to
  73. locate it.

  75. Use the File Finder as a memory jogger to help
  76. recall files mentioned in this issue that you want
  77. to add to your personal collection. You can even
  78. put the File Finder on paper if you have a printer,
  79. and make notes on it as you go through LiveWire. As
  80. its name indicates, you'll find all the information
  81. you need to find a file online in the File Finder:
  82. the name of the LiveWire article in which it was
  83. mentioned, the keyword for the RoundTable Library
  84. it's stored in (for direct online navigation), the
  85. number and name of every file mentioned in this
  86. issue, and occasional remarks about pertinent
  87. details. Just be sure you read the file's long
  88. description online to be certain your system has
  89. the required elements to run everything you
  90. download.
