  2. edition you'll realize I'm celebrating the
  3. western-style theme in this issue. I hope you'll
  4. agree that LiveWire's artists Bruce Robison and
  5. Walt Meyers have out-done themselves again, and
  6. Howard Wooten's toe-tapping rendition of "Wild
  7. Wood" is a classic in more ways than one, but
  8. LiveWire's not all snap and sizzle. You'll learn
  9. Spring spiff-up tips and discover helpful files to
  10. download among these articles, whether you're
  11. bouncing in your seat or dodging that ornery
  12. six-gun totin' cowboy.

  14. LiveWire File Finder
  15.   
  16. Speaking of downloading, this is our first issue to
  17. offer the LiveWire File Finder, a listing included
  18. with the Multimedia versions in a separate text
  19. file named 9405LWFF.TXT. If you have the Multimedia
  20. edition, that file is located in the directory on
  21. your system where you stored this issue. The File
  22. Finder is built into the text editions; check the
  23. Contents page to locate it.

  25. Use the File Finder as a memory jogger to help
  26. recall files mentioned in this issue that you want
  27. to add to your personal collection. You can even
  28. put the File Finder on paper if you have a printer,
  29. and make notes on it as you go through the issue.
  30. As its name indicates, you'll find all the
  31. information you need to find a file online in the
  32. File Finder: the name of the LiveWire article in
  33. which it was mentioned, the keyword for the
  34. RoundTable Library in it's stored in (for direct
  35. online navigation), the number and name of every
  36. file mentioned in this issue, and occasional
  37. remarks about pertinent details. Just be sure you
  38. read a file's long description online to be certain
  39. your system has the required elements for
  40. everything you download.

  48. Mark your calendar for Saturday, May 14th, from
  49. 8:00 to 11:00 PM Eastern time for the second annual
  50. GEnie Faire! This special Saturday evening live
  51. event will take place in the National Real-Time
  52. Conference on GEnie Page 500, where it will be FREE
  53. of standard connect charges.

  55. Going to the GEnie Faire will give you a chance to
  56. explore the diversity of products and variety of
  57. RoundTables and events available on GEnie on a
  58. regular basis. GEnie sysops are building their
  59. booths now and preparing their shows just for you!

  61. What's the GEnie Faire like? Well, picture a county
  62. fair -- or maybe a fair held at your school. There
  63. are booths around every corner and lots of
  64. different activities, vendors, and displays.
  65. That's what the GEnie Faire is like, except it's
  66. online. The National RTC will have dozens of
  67. "booths" (rooms in GEnie conference lingo) with
  68. special conferences, games, guests, and fun
  69. activities. You might meet a published author in
  70. one booth, get cooking lessons in another, learn
  71. about Federation II's player-planets, or even get
  72. tips on riding a motorcycle.

  74. Whatever your interest -- from Astrology to Zymurgy
  75. -- the GEnie Faire is sure to have a booth that
  76. you'll find fascinating. Watch the GEnie
  77. Announcements for details as we get closer to May
