This installer will put the XTND translators and XTND system into your system folder. It will also add LWM.movie to your preferences file. Naturally, it will also put the LinksWare Application and documentation on your hard drive.
The current version of LinksWare is 3.1.1 and can be found on AOL in our support area. Just use Keyword: LinksWare to get there. (That is, of course, the version enclosed here.)
America OnLine is our preferred support forum.

A word about translators:
Claris does not make, or at least will not release to the public, an XTND translator for ClarisWorks. I consider this to be shortsighted, but XTND is their product to do with as they please.
In order to use ClarisWorks with LinksWare, simply save your text documents in some other format, using the Save As... menu selection. Graphics should be saved as PICT.
LinksWare will read PICT, PNTG, TEXT, AIFF and QuickTime files without the use of any translators at all.
All other formats, as the documentation notes, require the use of XTND translators. These can be acquired in a number of ways, the most common of which is to receive them with some Claris product you have purchased. Microsoft Word and Novell WordPerfect XTND translators _do_ exist, but, as I noted above, Claris will not license them to developers.
