- Recommended Hardware:
- * a Pentium 75 or better (minimum: 66 MHz 486)
- * 16 Meg of memory (minimum: with Windows 3.x, 8 Meg; otherwise, 16 Meg)
- * a CD-ROM drive (4x or better)
- * a video driver capable of 640x480 with at least 256 colors
- * a sound card (and speakers or headphones)

- System Software:
- * This CD-ROM is usable on Windows 3.x, Windows 95, Windows NT, and OS/2.
- * On Windows 3.x, Video for Windows must be installed. (It will be
- installed for you if necessary.)

- Installation Instructions:

- 1) Insert the CD-ROM.

- 2) Run \SETUP.EXE on the CD-ROM. On Windows 3.1 and Windows NT 3.51,
- you can use the File-Run command in Program Manager, or you can
- double-click on the executable in File Manager. In Windows 95 and
- Windows NT 4.0, you can double-click on the executable in the Explorer.

- 3) Follow the instructions in the install program. If you are
- running Windows 3.1, and don't have Video for Windows installed, it
- will be installed for you.

- 4) Many Eloquent events include slides and other reference material in
- Adobe's PDF format. If you don't already have Adobe Acrobat installed
- on your computer, you can install the Acrobat Reader by running
- \ACROBAT\AR16E30.EXE (for Windows 3.1) or \ACROBAT\AR32E30.EXE (for
- Windows 95 and Windows NT) on the CD-ROM.

- 2) Run INSTALL.CMD in the OS2 directory on the CD-ROM.
