  3. Adam de la Halle was a famous trouv├¿re and an early composer of motets.

  5. He is particularly remembered for his Jeu de Robin et Marion, ( Play of Robin and Marion) which is still published and occasionally performed. It is a precursor of op├⌐ra comique and a contender for the name of first-ever opera.
