  100. Uninstallation of Exile II is very simple. Delete the directory you
  101. installed Exile II into (probably c:\exile2). From the Program
  102. Manager, delete the entire Exile II folder. All traces of Exile II
  103. will now be removed from your system.

  183. Troubleshooting:

  185. Exile is a large, elaborate game, and Windows can occasionally
  186. be a delicate operating system. If you're having troubles with
  187. Exile crashing, take the following steps.
  188. 1. Select Preferences from the Options menu. Select Fewer Sounds. If the
  189. game crashes while targeting missiles or combat spells, also select No
  190. Targeting Line.
  191. 2. Turn the sound off altogether.
  192. 3. Don't change the volume on your sound card while playing
  193.    Exile.
  194. 4. If using Windows 95, turn off the disk compression,
  195.    checking, and maintenance utilities while playing Exile.
  196.  
  197. Exile II will change the colors in the other Windows while it
  198. runs - this is an unfortunate side effect of using 256 colors.

  200. Exile II has proven to be a very stable and reliable game, in general.
