To sign up to Claranet, it is necessary to install the version of Microsoft's(R) Internet Explorer that is supplied in the Claranet folder. NOTE: This installation will replace any previous installation of Internet Explorer.
Full installation for Windows 95:
From Windows Explorer, run file <cd drive>:claranet\win95\explorer32\msie30.exe. When complete, you will be asked to reboot your system, and on coming back up you will be prompted with the login screen for Claranet.
After you have completed the login procedure, run file <cd drive>:claranet\win95\atlantis\setup.exe. This installs your Atlantis software for getting online.
Full installation for Windows 3.1:
From File Manager, run file <cd drive>:claranet\win3\explorer\setup.exe. When complete, you will be asked to reboot your system, and on coming back up you will be prompted with the login screen for Claranet.
After you have completed the login procedure, run file <cd drive>:\win3\atlantis\setup.exe. This installs your Atlantis software for getting online.
To run the programs you need:
IBM-compatible PC running Windows 3.1 or higher
4Mb RAM (minimum), 8Mb recommended
10Mb free hard disk space
9,600 bps modem or faster
