  5. Major New Features for this version:

  7. 1. Windows XP compatible.

  9. 2. Able to create VCD's from additional CD types:
  10.      CD-ROM, CD-Audio, DVD-ROM(data mode)(Windows98/ME), Video-CD, 
  11.            Photo-CD, MixedMode-CD.
  12. 3. More Intelligent interface provided.
  13.    Drag-and-Drop to add new VCDs.
  14.    Drag-and-Drop to insert/eject VCDs from Virtual Drive.
  15.    For different CD types supported, using the "Build VCD" button.
  16.      Virtual Drive will build correspondent VCD image file according
  17.      to CD type detected.

  19. 4. Customized CD-ROM now can support up to 1GB with the following
  20.    limitations:
  21.    total number of files:  32767 
  22.    max. directory levels:  15  (Ref. ISO 9002 standard)
  23.    max. length of path and file name: 128 bytes  (ISO 9660 standard)

  25. 5.  Multi language support for this version includes:
  26.      1. English
  27.      2. Chinese (Tanditional and Simplified versions)
  28.      3. Japanese

  30.      5. Germany 
  31.      6. Italian

  35.     The setup program determines the language of your system, and
  36.     will install the corresponding language with Virtual Drive 95/98/Me/NT/2000.

  38. 6. MixedMode-CD is now supported.
  39.    For old versions Virtual Drive, some CD titles are protected by 
  40.    using MixedMode-CD. and even though Virtual Drive could be used 
  41.    with these titles, sometimes the background music was lost. 
  42.    Now the background music is available(on 9x/Me/2000/NT/XP); however there 
  43.    are some limitations, depends on CD title: some Titles need to 
  44.    be used on first CD drive for background sound to be available.
