  16. Wenn Sie bereits StarOffice 5.2 auf Ihrem System installiert haben, bietet Ihnen das Installationsprogramm von StarOffice 6.0 eine M├╢glichkeit zur Migration Ihrer bisherigen StarOffice-Daten in die neue Version an.

  18. F├╝r die Konvertierung Ihrer E-Mails aus StarOffice 5.2, steht Ihnen nach der Installation von StarOffice 6.0 ein neuer Autopilot in StarOffice 5.2 zu Verf├╝gung.

  20. Um diesen Autopiloten zu starten, w├ñhlen Sie bitte in StarOffice 5.2 "Datei - AutoPilot - E-Mail- Konverter" um die Daten in das MBX-Format zu konvertieren.

StarOffice 6.0 kann parallel zu einer ├ñlteren Version von StarOffice installiert werden. Im Falle einer sp├ñteren Deinstallation des alten StarOffice muss das Setup Programm der neuen Version aufgerufen und eine Reparatur durchgef├╝hrt werden. Dadurch wird sichergestellt, dass die aktuelle Version korrekt im System angemeldet ist.

  41. Netzwerkinstallation: Fehler beim Aufruf des StarOffice Schnellstarter

Sollte es w├ñhrend des Systemstarts zu Problemen beim Aufruf des StarOffice Schnellstarters kommen (├╝ng├╝ltige Verkn├╝pfung), so liegt dieses wahrscheinlich darin begr├╝ndet, dass das Netzwerklaufwerk, auf dem die dazugeh├╢rige Netzwerkinstallation installiert wurde, nicht oder noch nicht zur Verf├╝gung steht.

  46. In den meisten F├ñllen geschieht dieses, wenn die Anmeldung der Netzwerklaufwerke ├╝ber ein Login-Script erfolgt und so die Verbindung der Netzwerklaufwerke parallel mit dem Ausf├╝hren der Programme der Autostartgruppe stattfindet, aus der auch der Schnellstarter gestartet wird.

Um dieses Problem zu umgehen, sollte das Netzwerklaufwerk nach M├╢glichkeit ├╝ber die systemeigenen Dienste verbunden werden. Sollte dieses nicht m├╢glich sein, kann alternativ der Link zum Aufrufen des Schnellstarters aus der Autostartgruppe des Systems entfernt werden, bzw. der Schnellstarter schon bei der Installation der Workstation Installation abgew├ñhlt werden. W├ñhlt der Systemadministrator bereits beim Installieren der Netzwerkinstallation den Schnellstarter ab, so kann dieser bei einer sp├ñteren Workstation-Installation nicht durch den Benutzer zur Installation ausgew├ñhlt werden.

StarOffice bietet die M├╢glichkeit, Schriften f├╝r die Anzeige und den Druck in StarOffice durch eine andere auf dem System installierte Schriftart zu ersetzen. Dies geschieht mit Hilfe der Funktion Schriftersetzung, die ├╝ber das Men├╝ im Men├╝ Extras - Optionen - StarOffice - Register Schriftersetzung zu erreichen ist.

Um die Schriftart der Benutzeroberfl├ñche von StarOffice zu ├ñndern, muss dort die Schrift "Andale Sans UI", die standardm├ñ├ƒig f├╝r die Benutzeroberfl├ñche von StarOffice verwendet wird, gegen eine beliebige andere Schriftart ersetzt und die Einstellung "immer" f├╝r die Ersetzung ausgew├ñhlt werden.
