                         Pak dan voor de zekerheid gelijk alle drie,
                         dus de VBRUN100, VBRUN200 en de VBRUN300.DLL
                         uit.

            WINZIP.ZIP   Voor wie zelf wel eens gemakkelijk vanuit
                         Windows gezipte bestanden wil in en/of uit-
                         pakken is WinZip(R) versie 5.6 een absolute
                         MUST! Een probleem bij veel ingepakte bestanden
                         is vaak dat je niet precies weet wat er in zit
                         en wat 'het' doet. Met winzip kun je een eerste
                         blik in het ingepakte bestand werpen en een
                         tekstbestand lezen zonder alles eerst uit te
                         moeten pakken. Als je gaat uitproberen zul je
                         tot de ontdekking komen dat het met wel heel
                         veel verschillende bestandstypen gaat.
                         ERRUG handig dus!
            THREED.ZIP   In het uitzonderlijke geval dat je THREED.VBX
                         "out of date" mocht zijn kun je de volgende
                         oplossing proberen: Pak dit bestand uit in b.v
                         de directory C:\TEMP. Verlaat windows en hernoem
                         in de \Windows\system directory de huidige
                         THREED.VBX naar b.v. THREED.OLD. Kopieer
                         vervolgens vanuit de TEMP directory het zojuist
                         uitgepakte THREED.VBX naar de \Windows\system
                         directory. Probeer vervolgens na het opstarten
                         van Windows of je het programma waarmee je de
                         melding kreeg nu wel kunt draaien. Lukt het niet
                         Dan zit er niets anders op dit programma gewoon
                         NIET te gebruiken. Mocht je met je andere
                         programma's vervolgens ook problemen krijgen,
                         kopieer dan de THREED.OLD weer terug naar z'n
                         oorspronkelijke naam: THREED.VBX.
                         De reden dat je dit buiten windows om moet doen
                         is dat windows gebruik maakt van dit bestand
                         en veranderingen van dergelijke bestanden niet
                         toelaat.

                     people were asking for help with minimax

                     This is a fairly portable program I
                     wrote to play othello for an AI class. I
                     wrote it using DeSmet C, and it has some
                     special PC optimizations, under #ifdef
                     DeSmet, that are non-portable. You'll
                     need to blow out the #define DeSmet if
                     you aren't using his C compiler. If your
                     C compiler gets annoyed at illegal
                     syntax within #if/#endif that isn't
                     being compiled, then you'll also need to
                     edit out the blocks that are ifdef
                     DeSmet.
