- For Non System 7.5.x Users.
-
-
- To get to the textures you'll need a file/disk editor like ResEdit™ or the GraphicConvertor™ application.
- You'll also need a Desktop Texture Utility (several available at info-mac).
-
- How do you proceed ?
-
- The textures are saved in picture resource format in the files.
- It's no use to look for ppat resources, cause there aren't any.
-
- With ResEdit™: 1) Open the file with ResEdit™.
- 2) Open the PICT resource.
- 3) Double click on the texture so it opens in a seperate window.
- 4) Select COPY from the EDIT Menu (Cmnd-C).
- 5) Switch to your Desktop Texture Utility and PASTE the texture into it (Cmnd-V).
-
- With GraphicConvertor: 1) Open the file with GraphicConvertor.
- 2) Select ALL from the EDIT Menu (Cmnd-A).
- 3) Select COPY from the EDIT Menu (Cmnd-C).
- 4) Switch to your Desktop Texture Utility and PASTE the texture into it (Cmnd-V).

- Good Luck, Erik.

- P.S.: ResEdit™ and GraphicConvertor are available at the info-mac archive and other servers.
