  5.  gaze upon the almighty face
  6.  of the LORD.

  10.  mocked. He saw the tower,
  11.  and in His wisdom he smote
  12.  it, and He confounded their
  13.  language, and He scattered
  14.  the builders abroad upon the
  15.  face of all the earth, and
  16.  they left off to build the
  17.  tower.

  20. ^Blessed be the name of the
  21.  LORD.

  28. ^But what if the LORD had not
  29.  seen the tower? What if some
  30.  benevolent priest, wise in
  31.  His service and mindful
  32.  of the interests of man, had
  33.  restrained those ancient
  34.  engineers and prevented the
  35.  profane ziggurat from
  36.  attracting His almighty
  37.  wrath?
