- How to Install

- Put on your computer and start up Windows.
- Before the installation, make sure you have no other programs running.
-
- Insert the CD into your CD-ROM drive.
- If you have autoplay enabled, install program will automatically start.

- If you do not have autoplay enabled, please run setup. exe in your root directory.
-
- First ,select the directory you would like to install.
- Then you should decide the way to set up.
-
- Installation will begin.
-
- Installation will be completed when the files have been copied.

- Startup

- Run the 'BUST-A-MOVE 4 TRIAL' which is in the selected group of the program folder.
-
- The default screen setting of the game is 640X480 full screen mode. If you
- would like to have another display mode, keep pressing Shift key when you
- start up the game. The new display mode is saved and kept when you start the
- game next time.

- Uninstall

- There are two ways for running the uninstall program.
-
- 1. Select "BUST-A-MOVE 4 TRIAL" from 'Add/Remove application' in the 'Control Panel'.
- Then, click on the 'Add/Remove ' button.

- 2. From the start menu, select program folder named 'CYBERFRONT',
- and then select 'Uninstall' in the "BUST-A-MOVE 4 TRIAL" folder.

- Uninstall will be automatically completed as you follow the instructions on the screen.

- The object of the game is to burst as many bubbles as you can.
- After a period of time, the bubbles that remain descend one level at a time toward the Deadline.
- The game ends when the first bubble crosses the Deadline.
- Fire a bubble from the Launcher and connect it to two or more bubbles of the same color.
- These bubbles will burst. Bubbles suspended by those burst will also be cleared.
- The larger the cluster cleared, the more points awarded.

- When the game is over, the countdown will start.
- If you press the start key during the countdown, you can start the game again.
- There are no limitations of replay.

- [Condition to Generate Chain Reaction]
- 1. Bubble drop takes place as a result of burst. For example, a red bubble drops as a result of burst.
- 2. There is more than Two same color bubble attached together.
- For example, there are more than two red bubbles attached together.
- 3. There is a space for the dropped bubble to attach to the clustered same color bubbles.
- For example, There is a space for the dropped red bubble to fly to and attach the clustered red bubbles.

- Chain Reaction continues as long as the above three conditions are met.

- [Star Bubble]
- Once a color of bubble attached to Star Bubble.
- Star Bubble will clear all the same color bubbles that is attached to the Star Bubble in the cluster.

- Rainbow Bubble changes its color to the color of bubbles which are attached to Rainbow Bubble and cleared by burst.

- [Block]
- Block cannot be removed by burst but removed by drop. However only Blocks remained, you can clear a round.

- Anchor can be removed only by bursting all the bubbles attached to Anchor.
- A round cannot be cleared if Anchor remains.

- [Elevator]
- Elevator carries all the attached bubbles to the highest possible level.
- When Elevator reaches the level, it will change into Anchor.

- High Scores will be shown in Ranking together with three letters.
- Scroll by the arrow keys to find letters and select by the decide key.

- Start network vs. mode as follows.
- 1.Prepare two network connected computers. Select Protocol at [NETWORK] in [OPTION] menu.
- One of the computer is used for Saver and start the game which
- Interrupt Play mode such as "Arcade" in "Puzzle" or "Story" in "Player vs. Computer."
- 2.In the other computer, choose the same protocol at [NETWORK] in [OPTION] menu as Saver.
- Then connect to the Saver.
- 3.Then, the screen will be the same display as [PLAYER VS PLAYER]. You can start the battle.

- Please before you call up customer support.

- Something Wrong with Game Behaviors
-
- Game movement becomes very slow after a while.
- Is Power Management or Power Save On? If so, Please turn off these functions.
- If these Power functions are on, they will affect game behaviors.

- Flicker on the Screen
- Do you use animation cursor? If you do, Please turn off the cursor.
-
-
- Something Wrong with Display
- Dialogue box isn't indicated.
- Dialogue box could be behind the game screen when the game is displayed at full screen mode.
- If the dialogue box is behind the game screen, press "ESC" key.
- Press again and again if you do not have the dialogue box.
-
- Something Wrong with Color
- Prioritize the game window. If this does not work,
- close another applications because your computer may be using the applications' color pallet.
- Even after closing other applications, if the color remains wrong, restart the game.
- All the above do not work,
- we would suggest you to contact graphic board vendor which supply graphic board to your computer.
- The vendor will supply you with the new graphic board driver. (We cannot supply you with the driver.)

- Something Wrong with BGM or Sound Effect

- Sound balance is wrong.
- Adjust the volume with the volume controller of Windows.

- Network
-
- You are not sure what IP address you should input when you start TCP/IP communication.
- Input the opponent's IP address. You have to know the address in advance.
-
- You do not know your computer's IP address.
- If your computer is connected to LAN,
- you will know the address by opening "TCP/IP" property at Network in Control Panel.
-
- Error Message after Selecting Connection Method
- Selected communication method may not be set up.
- Ex. You will see the error message when TCP/IP is not installed in Windows and you select TCP/IP.

- Opponent Does not Appear on the Screen or No Connection
- Check the followings:
- * Opponent game Mode does not support network play
- * If same connection method as opponent.
- Match Play through LAN
- * Check if the opponent computer is in the same LAN. (It should not through Router.)
- Match Play through TCP?IP (LAN)
- * Check if you input right IP address.
- Match Play through Modem
- * Check if modem setting is right or if cable to modem is properly connected.
- Match Play through Cable
- * Check if the cable is properly connected or if the communication parameter is the same with the opponent.

- You Feel Latency or Have Disconnection during the Match Play through Network
- Match Play though LAN
- * Check if the network setting is right. There is a possibility that the network condition is not good.
- Ask a network manager if the connection and setting is proper.
- Match Play though Modem
- * There is a possibility that the condition of public network circuit goes down. Try reconnection.
- * Check if the data compression is on.
- Match Play though Cable
- * Check if communication port is properly set up. Look up the Windows manual and set up the port.
- * If the above does not work, change communication settings.
