  11. I love to program and I love animation.  Many moons ago I did
  12. program nice games and what-nots for DOS but there was such a 
  13. flood of games and what-nots for DOS that me work went unnoticed.
  14. The most I could hope for was to end up share-ware at Lucky Larry's
  15. Computer Shop at the bottom of the pile - just under all the dBase 4's 
  16. and Corel Draw! 4's (what is it with version 4's anyway?).
  17.  
  18. That was yesteryear.  Now  Microsoft has taken over the 
  19. world and everything has moved to Windows.  Everything -- except for 
  20. games that are worth unzipping.  
  21.  
  22. I have noticed that there are no good games for Windows.  
  23. Sure there are plenty of card games.  But frankly,
  24. I'm sick of playing solitar and tic-tac-toe so I invented Karate Joe.
  25. Something fast with good animation and sound without bouncing out to
  26. DOS.  (By the way, I've looked at all the other Windows games that 
  27. are available.  I've either bought it or down-loaded it.  From what 
  28. I've seen, Three-Finger Charlie can count the number of games that 
  29. are worth a rip on one hand.)

  31. I hope you enjoy the demo.  There are 16 different levels in the 
  32. "for sale" version of Karate Joe.  This demo lets you play 2 of them.

  34. Please, Please, Please let me know what you think of Karate Joe.
  35. I need to know if I'm on the right track and if this is kind of software
  36. is worth the trouble of advertising and marketing.  I'd like to what you
  37. think of Karate Joe.

  78. After you unarc, run from Windows Program Manager "Run" option from the
  79. "File" menu and browse for "KJOE.EXE" or double click on this file from
  80. within Mr. File Manager.

  82. This program requires VBRUN300.DLL.  You should have this file already
  83. in your WINDOWS\SYSTEM subdirctory.  If you don't, you can find a copy
  84. on almost every BBS.

  86. This game should run on any Windows 3.1 system with mouse.

  88. This game will run better on a fast machine with lots-o-RAM and a
  89. nice sound card.
