HISTORY:
On December 7, 1941, 'a date which will live in imfamy,' the Japanese
made a sneak attack against Pearl Harbor and U.S. air bases on Oahu.
Of the 8 Pacific Fleet battleships, 5 were damaged or destroyed. Most
of the land based aircraft were either badly damaged or destroyed.
Because of the attack, the U.S. was forced to rely on the aircraft
carrier, the ship which would later prove it's superiority in the
Battle of Midway.
MISSION:
Level bomb the enemy bombers parked on the runway of Hickam Field.
Be on guard against enemy anti-aircraft fire.
