  10. On August 2, 1997, seven years to the day after the invasion of Kuwait, dictator Hussein announces Iraq has four 500 kiloton hydrogen bombs

  12. He demands,
  13. 1, an end to sanctions against Iraq,
  14. 2, that Iraq's international debt be forgiven,
  15. 3, that world oil prices rise to no less than $50.00 a barrel, and
  16. 4, that Kuwait, including the Buran oilfields, become the sole property of Iraq.

  18. With surprising speed, US, British, Arab and Israeli forces form a coalition to,
  19. 1, prevent Iraq's hydrogen bombs from getting out of the country by completely sealing it off, and
  20. 2, go into Iraq to search for and destroy their thermonuclear weapons.

  22. Three weeks later, the fight is on. But with military drawdowns and budget cutbacks, the Coalition maybe doing
  23. too little too late. Hussein has vowed to destroy Washington,D.C., London, England, Tel Aviv, Israel, and
  24. an as yet "undecided, but less significant target to show Iraq's power", soon unless
  25. "all provocation ceases and Iraq's legitimate demands are met."
