  7. This is a universal TSR that will allow you to program your genuine
  8. ThrustMaster PFCS, FCS, FCS/EX, and XL Action Controller.  This program
  9. is provided for use by owners of genuine ThrustMaster Controls only.  Any
  10. use with copycat ThrustMaster joysticks is a violation of copyright law.

  13. To use Uliticool:

  15. Run ULITIKEY.COM and follow the prompts entering the key or key
  16. combination you would like your ThrustMaster joystick to produce in
  17. a sim or game.  Answer Y and assign a second function to the hat positions
  18. or buttons 3 and 4 if you want the hat position or button to perform a
  19. second function when it is pressed the second time.  With double function
  20. key assignments, the hat position or button 3 and/or 4 will toggle
  21. between the first key or key combination and the second key or key
  22. combination.

  24. Once you have run ULTIKEY.COM and assigned your favorite keys to your
  25. hat switch and buttons 3 & 4, ULTICOOL will produce the key or key  
  26. combinations you programmed to the hat positions and buttons 3 and/or
  27. 4.

  30. You may now run ULTICOOL and begin using the TSR with your favorite game 
  31. or sim.

  33. NOTE:  ULTICOOL may not work with all sims - it should work OK with all
  34. sims that use the BIOS for the keyboard keys - some do not.  The only way
  35. to tell if it will work with a sim or game is to try it.  If it does not
  36. work, try copying ULTIKEY.CFG and ULTICOOL.COM into the subdirectory where
  37. the sim or game is located on your hard drive and try it again.  If it
  38. still does not work, then it is likely that that game or sim uses a
  39. keyboard handler that has been substituted for the BIOS keyboard handler
  40. and will not work with that game or sim no matter what you try.
