  3. For those interested, I have included a
  4. frames per second counter in the game.
  5. Pressing the:

  7. "f" key
  8.  
  9. toggles the score to a fps display. This
  10. is good for benchmarking or estimating the
  11. speed of the game on machines running at
  12. other clock frequencies. Use the:
  13.  
  14. "." or ">" key
  15.  
  16. to dial in the processor clock rate.
  17. There will be a letter "L" after the fps
  18. display if the frame limiter is on. The
  19. frame limiter keeps the maximum frame
  20. rate pinned to between 30 and 35 fps.
  21. Pressing the:
  22.  
  23. "l" key (lower case "L")
  24.  
  25. toggles the frame limiter on/off.
