-
- INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
- Simply run the self-extracting Executable and follow the on
- screen instructions.
-
- GAME OVERVIEW
- Space Tripper is a frantic Shoot-em-up bought to you from people
- who remember what Shoot-em-up means!!
- Fly your ship through 14 arenas, with your only mission Being to
- kill everything within a time limit.
- Only then can you proceed to the next stage.
- Be warned... this game holds no punches.
- This is one seriously tough Shooter!!
-
- GAME INSTRUCTIONS
- The game is based on an overhead view with your ship
- Free to fly all over the level in your search for the enemy.
- You can flip the direction of the craft using the Flip-Direction
- Button. This is independent of movement, so your ship is easily
- Equipped to fly backwards!!
- The craft has two weapons, Laser ( blue ) and Spread ( red )
- And you can flip between these at will, using the Change
- Weapon button.
- Occasionally an enemy will drop a power-up.
- If picked up, this will power-up the currently selected weapon.
- Switching between the two weapons is vital for progression
- So don't forget to power them both!!!
- You can keep track of how many Power-ups have been picked
- Up using the Power-Up chart, at the bottom right of the screen.
-
- ENEMIES
- All enemies in the game can be destroyed. It's down to you to
- Figure out how. Use the radar to get an idea of where the
- Dangers are, and go and deal with them.
- With BIG bosses at the end of each world, this game has a huge
- Array of enemies to have fun with.

- If you have problems getting the game to run contact support@PomPom.org.uk
-
- If the gameplay is choppy, try:
-
- 1) Turning Vertical Sync off.
- This can be done in game.
- Note: In windows, find your Advanced Display Properties. Now go to the section
- for Open GL Settings and make sure Vertical sync is not forced ON.
- This can be turned on and off in the game but is overridden if Forced on
- in the Open GL settings.
-
- 2) Monitor Refresh too low.
- Make sure the monitor refresh rate is as high as possible.
- In 640x480 mode, most modern monitors can refresh at 100Hz and more.
- A refresh of 60Hz can cause the game to stutter and jump frames.
- This can be changed in your Advanced Display Properties/Monitor section.
- Note: Windows 2000 sets all refresh rates to 60Hz when using Nvidia cards.
- This can be fixed by downloading:-
