  29.         Pentium (or compatible) 200 MHz
  30.         32 MB RAM
  31.         Windows 95, 98 or Windows Millennium with DirectX 7.0a or later

  34.         3D Accelerated DirectX Compatible Video Card with at least 4 MB of RAM

  45.         Screamer 4x4 has been tested on all major video cards. For optimum performance and 
  46.     compatibility, please make sure that you are running the very latest drivers for your 
  47.     specific video card. If performance is a problem try adjusting your graphic settings.

  55.         Running Screamer 4x4 on Windows NT 4.0 is not supported.

  58.         Although not officially supported, Screamer 4x4 should run under Windows 2000. (SP1

  62.         Please make sure that DirectX 7.0a or later is installed on your machine.

  66.      Run launcher.exe, click install or run setup.exe and follow the on-
  67.      screen instructions.

  71. 2. Running Screamer 4x4

  73.      Start Screamer 4x4 from the start menu (Virgin Interactive\Screamer 4x4\Screamer 4x4) or 
  74.      by running launcher.exe from the installation folder.

  78.      The Launcher allows you to select the following: 
  79.        
  80.         Install/ Re-install    -  Allows you to install or reinstall the game.
  81.         Play D3D               -  Play Direct3D version. Not included with Demo.
  82.         Play Glide             -  3DFX optimised version.
  83.         Play OpenGL            -  Play OpenGL version. 
  84.         View read-me           -  View the read-me file.
  85.         Uninstall              -  Uninstall Screamer 4x4 from your hard drive.
  86.         Exit                   -  Exit.

  91.     If you try to use the OpenGL version please make sure you have the 
  92.     latest drivers for your video card. Please visit the homepage of your       
  93.     video card manufacturer.

  134.         The demo will time-out after a maximum of 8 minutes.

  136.         This game is not about driving fast.

  138.         Use differential locks and the transfer case. You can "climb" 
  139.         on to nearly unreachable places.

  141.         Try playing in in-car view. (F4)

  143.         If car damage is enabled watch the damage indicator frequently.

  145.         AVOID hitting spectators!
