  10. Abracadabra  is multipurpose utility for view and edit text and graphic files.
  11.  
  12. Abracadabra 1.2.3 has the following features:
  13.  
  14. -new interface;
  15. -quick navigation in both files and catalogues (one left/right mouse click performs all necessary functions);
  16. -the files box is always present "under a hand"; 
  17. -view and edit text and RTF files ( including files larger than 64kb);
  18. -convert text from Windows to DOS- format and vice versa;
  19. -convenient viewing of graphic files of the following formats: BMP, JPG,  WMF, EMF, PCX, TGA, DIB, RLE, ICO;
  20. -save images in BMP or JPG format;
  21. -zoom in/out and movement of images on screen (all this is done with the mouse, without using rulers and buttons); 
  22. -set any image as tiled or centered desktop wallpaper;
  23. -slideshow mode;
  24. -copy image in clipboard;
  25. -support of standard file opperations: copy, move, rename, delete, open document in associated program;
  26. -local files navigation (forward/back/history functions);
  27. -desctop functions and HYPERIMAGE files using.

  38. Abracadabra is distributed as Shareware. This is not Freeware or 
  39. Public Domain. You may use the shareware version for 30 days.
  40. If after 30 days you would like to continue using it, then You 
  41. should purchase a license. After you pay, you receive Registration
  42. Name and Registration key from the author to tell Abracadabra that
  43. you have paid the shareware fee.

  47. The simplest way to register, is by registering online with a major credit card
  48. through a secure server. Point your browser to the following URL and follow

  54. Another way to register is a register program. Open the Register program, that
  55. accompanies Abracadabra, by starting up the file REGISTER.EXE. Enter your 
  56. name, your email address, and the number of single user licenses you
  57. desire for each program you wish to purchase. Save or Copy or Print
  58. the data from the Register program and send the data and payment
  59. to Kagi Shareware. For further information open the REGISTER.HLP file.

  68. Installation:

  70. Create a new directory (e.g. \abra) and unzip the ABRA1.ZIP
  71. file to it. You can also unzip the file to any existing
  72. directories on your system if you wish.
  73. You can place NVIEWLIB.DLL from ABRA1.ZIP in the Windows system 
  74. directory or you can store this file in installation directory.

  79. Start ABRA.EXE from Windows environment (by double click in 
  80. Explorer for example).

  84. Abracadabra 1.2.3 may be distributed freely in its original unmodified and
  85. unregistered form. The distribution have to include all files of its
  86. original distribution.

  123. This is a new shell for Windows95. "Bonjour" hides the standard desktop 
  124. of Win95. In the "Bonjour" workspace, you can place any number of buttons 
  125. or pictures. These objects can have any form or dimensions. All objects can 
  126. run external programs or internal shell commands. The number of forms 
  127. (screens) can range from 1 to 999. Any screen object can be set to switch 
  128. from one form to another. Using "Bonjour", you can build any interface for 
  129. your computer. All settings and pictures are stored in a database file. 
  130. You can even make more than one database and use objects with links to go 
  131. from one database to another!

  140. MPEG,WAV,MIDI and AudioCD Player.  I wanted to make a beautiful and easy-to-use 
  141. player. This program doesn't have the standard grey buttons and doesn't use 
  142. double-clicking. I use "Melody" to listen to music both from the hard drive 
  143. and CDs. The program allows one to play all MP2, MP3, WAV files from one 
  144. catalogue and to compose lists of songs from different catalogs.

  151. This is a small, simple and beautiful program for searching for icons in files.
  152. This program will scan a drive for EXE, DLL, ICO, and BMP files and show 
  153. all icons found in them in a listing. Then it is possible to either copy any icon 
  154. found to the clipboard or to save it as a file (ICO or BMP). Another function of 
  155. program is manipulations with desktop wallpaper. You can use any found 
  156. icon or bmp-file as wallpaper. Only one click and you can see the result on the 
  157. screen. This function reminds mosaic game.
