  2. Running the Software from Rescue Disks
  3.  
  4. The rescue disks contain the necessary files to boot your 
  5. computer and run the DOS GUI version of the software. You must 
  6. boot from the first rescue disk.
  7.  
  8. The rescue disks will be useful in the following situations:
  9.  
  10. -If you have hidden the hard disk partition where the software 
  11. is installed and need to get back into the software to unhide 
  12. the partition.
  13.  
  14. -If you have accidentally converted a partition to FAT32 when your 
  15. operating system does not support FAT32 and now your computer will 
  16. not boot.  (Use the rescue disks to convert the partition back 
  17. to FAT.)
  18.  
  19. -If you only have Windows NT 3.51 on your computer, and you need 
  20. to manipulate the NT boot partition (the one with the Windows 
  21. directory).
  22.  
  23. -If other occasions arise when you do not have access to 
  24. the Windows version of the software on the CD or hard disk.
  25.

  27. To use the rescue disks:
  28. ------------------------
  29.  
  30. 1. Boot your computer from the first rescue disk.
  31.  
  32. 2. Insert the second rescue disk when prompted.
  33.  
  34.    The program runs automatically.
  35.  
  36. Although the rescue disks run a DOS version of the software, 
  37. it is a full GUI application and has similar functionality to 
  38. the Windows executable.
  39.  
  40. To access online help, insert the second rescue disk, then choose
  41. General or Index from the Help menu.
  42.  
  43. For additional information about running the software from
  44. the rescue disks, including how the rescue disk version of
  45. varies from the Windows version, refer to Chapter 1 of the 
  46. user guide.
