The number of files currently under Norton Protection exceeds this sensor's alarm trigger level.
Norton Protection enhances the file recovery capabilities of the Windows Recycle Bin. Unlike the Recycle Bin, Norton Protection extends to overwritten files, files deleted from within Windows applications, and files deleted from the DOS prompt. Deleted files that are under Norton Protection can always be completely recovered using UnErase Wizard.
NOTE: Because Norton Protection does its job without affecting disk space, there is little advantage to be gained from emptying the Norton Protected Recycle Bin. When you empty the Norton Protected Recycle Bin, the files it contained will no longer be protected. Subsequently, you may not be able to recover (unerase) these files. Under most conditions, you should disable the alarm for this sensor.
To delete Norton Protected Recycled Bin files, right-click the Recycle Bin, and choose Empty Norton Protected Files from the context menu.
To change the alarm trigger level, click Change Alarm Settings.
