This sensor periodically checks your system's critical setup data and startup files, and alerts you when any of these files has changed. The sensor also detects whether any new files should be added to your rescue disk set. It can automatically run Rescue Disk to update your rescue disk set.
A rescue disk set stores copies of critical files on removable media (floppy, Zip, or Jaz disks). If your computer fails to start, you can use your rescue disk set to get the computer running again.
You should not add more than one Rescue Disk sensor to the sensor panel.
To inspect or customize this sensor's configuration, click Properties.
To create or update your rescue disk set now, click Rescue Disk.
