  1. Installing the Update:
  2.  
  3. Once you have downloaded this installation, 
  4. the installation process requires several steps:
  5.  
  6. 1. If you have made a diskette set of the update,
  7.   make sure your installer disk is unlocked.
  8. 2. Run the program “PrintChef Pro Installer”
  9. 3. Upon automatic activation of the “PrintChef Personalizer”,
  10.   you should notice the serial number, name, and 
  11.   organization specified to match your current installation.
  12. 4. Specify a “seat number” in the range indicated and click
  13.   “OK” to complete the installation. The seat number is a
  14.     unique identifier given to each of our licensed units.
  15. 5. Later, you can re-run this installer to add other seats in
  16.   the range specified. Each seat must be unique!
  17.  
  18. NOTE: Once you have updated ONE existing installation,
  19. the installer becomes a fully licensed package keyed to your
  20. installation, and no longer requires a previous installation.
  21. You can then make diskettes from this download and then use
  22. them for other licensed installations.

  25. Creating a “2-Diskette” Set of the Product:
  26.  
  27. To create a 2-diskette set of this installation:
  28.  
  29. 1. Format two diskettes and name them:
  30.   A. “PrintChef Pro Disk 1”
  31.   B. “PrintChef Pro Disk 2”
  32. 2. Copy “PrintChef Personalizer” and “PrintChef Pro Installer” to 
  33.   “PrintChef Pro Disk 1”.
  34. 3. Copy “PrintChef Pro Installer.2” to “PrintChef Pro Disk 2”.
  35. 4. Execute the installation procedure above.
