As you use McAfee's SiteAdvisor software, it asks our master database for safety ratings about the sites you visit. We do this because the database is too large and dynamic to send it to you in advance.
We never store information about what you do online. We do keep master logs of the sites our users visit so those sites can be prioritized for retesting, but the logs never contain personally identifiable information, not even your IP address. Periodically our software will also send us a unique, anonymous number so that we know that it is functioning properly.
