  16. ATV2000 is freeware. It means it can be free distributed,
  17. copied, burned to CD etc., but only as is in this installation
  18. package. It cannot be distributed as part of any other
  19. software, no part of ATV2000 can be included to other software
  20. and cannot be distributed with TV Cards.

  22. Also there is no responsibility for any damage of computer,
  23. it may cause. You are running it on your own risk. There is no
  24. official support, but i try to respond to all questions
  25. {except the stupid ones) you send me.

  31. 1. Introduction
  32.  
  33. Thank you for trying  ATV2000 - TV viewing application 
  34. with capture for Windows 95/98/Me/2000/XP.
  35.

  37. 2. Short description
  38.  
  39. ATV2000 is based on two parts - main control panel,
  40. which controls all TV functions - tunning, sound
  41. control and detection and makes easy interface.
  42.  
  43. The second is video viewing and capture part. It
  44. supports two interfaces - Video for Windows and
  45. WDM (DirectShow) interface.
  46.  
  47. Note for sheduler:
  48. Full support for sheduling including Shutdown and Wake up
  49. is only under WDM. VfW allows not setting video compression,
  50. so you must enable capture mode and set compression manually.
  51. Also Profiles are not implemented in VfW because of the same
  52. reason, so selecting profile in ARC2000 sheduler has no effect
  53. for VfW. Don't use Wake up with VfW !!! You can use shutdown
  54. after capture done.

  131. 5. Known limitations and issues
  132.  
  133. This software is still in developement, there may be some limitations
  134. and unworking (or incorrectly) functions. I have no responsibility
  135. for any damage of your computer or software installations,
  136. it may cause.
  137.  
  138. Here is list of current issues:
  139.  
  140. - some changes in capture parameters in WDM may cause program crash,
  141.   because not all unstandart behaviour of codecs and filters may be
  142.   handled - is improved with every new version
  143. - by changing country, tuner will tune to first channel for a while,
  144.   need to find how to tell driver country settings directly without using
  145.   ITVTuner interface

  150. Remove bugs, improve filters, more video formats to frame grabber,
  151. more capture cards supported, better Help.
