File Shredder, erase files permanently - Jitbit System Purifier

File Shredder

Deleted files are not physically removed from your hard disk. Emptying your Recycle Bin is NOT enough. Your sensitive files can be recovered with recovery tools even after formatting your hard disk. When you delete a file, your hard disk just marks the file as deleted, but the data of the file is still on the hard disk. This is made to optimize performance and there are many tools available which can let others easily recover your sensitive files even after you format your hard disk.

System Purifier physically erases your critical files, by overwriting the portion on the hard drive that is allocated to the files several times. An erased file can still be recovered with recovery tools, BUT the recovered file will be totally unusable and filled with zeroes.
