  3. <h3><a name="opt">Metronome & Tempo settings</h3>
  4. Changing the value in the <b>Tempo</b> field speeds up or slows down the current song.
  5. This value gets saved and re-loaded with the song file.
  6. <br>
  7. You can also change the tempo by pressing your keyboard's space bar 4 times at the desired tempo.

  9. Check the <b>Metronome turned on</b> box if you want the metronome on all the time.
  10. <br>
  11. Check the <b>Silent when not playing or recording box</b> if you
  12. only want it on while you are playing or recording a song.
  13. <br>
  14. Press the <b>Advanced Settings</b> button to see more fields.

  16. Change the values of the <b>Synthesizer</b> and <b>Channel</b> values to control which synthesizer(s)
  17. are to play metronome sounds.
  18. <br>
  19. Try different values in the <b>MIDI Note</b> field until the metronome sounds ok.
  20. <br>
  21. Press the <b>Create Click Track</b> button to create a track of metronome beats that will be part of the song.
  22. This can be useful while recording new tracks, and can be removed from the song when it is finished.
