  2. Welcome to Podmailer, a simple and powerful e-mail application.
  3. Podmailer enables you to send & receive e-mails with no size limit, using your regular e-mail account.

  5. A. I've just installed Podmailer. How can I send a podmail?
  6. You are just 2 minutes away from sending the largest e-mail you've ever sent.
  7. Just follow the 4 quick steps:
  8.    1. Click on 'New'. This button is located on the top left corner of the window.
  9.    2. Fill in the recipients, subject and body - as you do when you write a regular e-mail.
  10.    3. Click on 'Attachment' - the button with a paper clip - and select the attachment (a single file) you wish to send.
  11.    Remember, this attachment can be as big as you want, even up to several Gigs!
  12.    4. Press "Send Now".

  14. Congratulations! Your podmail has just been sent and your friends are now able to download your file.
  15. Do not forget to keep the Podmailer application up and running to allow your friends to get your attachment.

  17. PS: by default, podmails are sent with your default e-mail client using your default account.
  18. If you wish to send your podmails directly, just click on the 'Use SMTP' check box in the options window.

  21. B. I've received a podmail. How should I open it?
  22. In your regular e-mail client, when you receive an e-mail with a .zed file attached, it means that you've received a podmail!
  23. To download the huge file attached to it, you just need to:
  24.    1. Double click on the .zed file in the email you've received.
  25.    2. Tell your e-mail application to open the .zed file using Podmailer.exe if it doesn't do so automatically.
  26.    3. Follow the download progress in the Podmailer application.
  27.    4. When the download is complete, the attachment is in your "Podmailer attachments" folder: enjoy!

  29. PS: by default, all your Podmailer attachments are located in the folder "My Documents\Podmailer attachments\".
  30. You can change this folder in the Options window.
