  1. This patch script allows you to remove driver-level overclocking protection on certain ATI RV250/RV280/R300/RV350/RV360 based boards.
  2. Unlike ATIOverclockingAntiprotection script, which acheives the same result via blocking clock change protection initialization code, this script leaves the initialization code unchanged but blocks clock restoration code instead. This allows the script to be installed in runtime mode, even when the protection is already initialized by the Catalyst driver.

  10. Catalyst 5.3 and newer drivers are no longer overclocking protected. There is no need to install this script on these drivers.
