  3. This file lists the changes made to older versions of
  4. PasswordSafe. The changes for the current version and the one before
  5. it are noted in ReleaseNotes.txt.

  7. Bugs fixed in 2.06:

  9. [1026630] Autotype now works correctly when "lock database on
  10. minimize" active.
  11. [1028394] Export to text function works again.

  13. [1039214, 992178] PasswordSafe can now be configured to ignore the Esc
  14. key or to exit when it is pressed (Manage->Options->Misc).

  18. [958343] PasswordSafe can now be configured to lock automatically
  19. after a predefined idle time.
  20. [998966] In an "autotype" string, \d followed by up to 3 digits will
  21. cause the program to pause that many milliseconds between characters
  22. from that moment onwards.
  23. [1032149] Adding an entry with a group or item selected will fill the
  24. Group field with that currently selected (previously, this only worked
  25. on right-click on group item).

  66. feature, active by default. Clearing the checkbox in
  67. Manage->Options->Display will restore the old behaviour.
  68. [986345] The popup menu for entries now displays the more frequently
  69. used operations (copy username & password) first.
  70. [unreported] There's a new "lock on workstation lock" option in
  71. Manage->Options->Security
  72. [969038] Autotype feature added: This is a really nice feature that
  73. pastes the selected entry's information (by default, username, tab,
  74. password, tab, enter) to the current browser field. See the online
  75. help for more details (See Autotype under "PasswordSafe Overview").

  89. between two styles of toolbar icons via the View menu. If not, then
  90. only the simple toolbar is enabled.

  124. New Features for 2.0:
  125. =====================
  126. Two major new features in this release: A new database format, and a
  127. new tree view. The former should be invisible to users, the latter
  128. quite useful.

  130. The application imports old database files transparently, and warns
  131. the user upon saving that the new format is incompatible with old
  132. versions of the program.
  133.  
  134. Also, the first URL in the Notes field (starting with http: or https:)
  135. will be added to the popup (right-click) menu for that entry. 
  136. Selecting it will invoke the default browser on that URL.
  137.  
  138. A Russian version of the help file may be found in
  139. http://passwordsafe.sourceforge.net/pwsaferu.zip (Thanks to Maxim 
  140. Tikhonov). If anyone is interested in doing such work in other
  141. languages, please let me (https://sourceforge.net/users/ronys) know.

  143. Finally, the graphics have been spruced up a bit - thanks to Emilijan
  144. Mirceski for his patient work on the new logo and toolbar!
