304    Undertaking: Your order will be transmitted to [e-mail],
305    in a specially-encrypted format for security. We guarantee that this
306    program is not sending any information about you or your system other
307    than that which you have explicitly entered in this order, apart from
308    your electronic mail address, which is automatically supplied as part of
309    the message. We also guarantee that the information in this order will be
310    used only for the explicit purpose of fulfilling your order and will not
311    be made available to any third party for any reason whatsoever. We don't
312    like junk mail any more than you do and nothing annoys us more than
313    finding that our names have somehow ended up on someone's mailing list.
315    What you are ordering: Once your order has been processed, you will be
316    entitled to access electronic manual sets for both Pegasus Mail and
317    Mercury for a period of one calendar year from the date of processing;
318    the manuals will be available to you at all times via FTP from a secure
319    site - you will be advised of your login details when your order is
320    processed. During this one year period, the contact people you have
321    designated in your order will also be entitled to receive formal
322    technical support by electronic mail either from the author of the
323    program, or his designated support technicians. We will make every
324    reasonable effort to answer any query within 24 working hours. Once
325    again, you will be advised of proper addresses for contact purposes when
326    your order is processed.
328    Payment: The only fee you pay is the annual subscription fee shown in the
329    order form. You can pay this by cheque in any currency for an amount
330    equivalent to the amount invoiced PROVIDED the cheque is drawn on a bank
331    in the same country as the currency (so, a cheque in US dollars must be
332    drawn on a US bank). You can also pay by credit card, or by arrangement
333    with us in advance, by International Money Transfer ("wire", or
334    "telegraphic transfer"). You will receive a proper invoice and printed
335    license when your order is processed.
337    New Zealand customers: 12.5% Goods and Services Tax (GST) will be added
338    to purchases by New Zealand customers.
340    Obligations of the licensee: You undertake to ensure that your license
341    level properly matches your number of users; if your number of users
342    increases to exceed your licensed limit, you agree to contact us to
343    increase your license level. You agree to take all reasonable steps to
344    ensure that copyrighted material (the manuals) supplied under this
345    license are not made available to any person or organization not directly
346    covered by your license. If you have purchased your license using a
347    purchase order, you undertake to pay our invoice within one normal credit
348    cycle.
350    Obligations of the licensor: We undertake to process your order in a
351    timely manner, to make manual sets available to you as soon as is
352    practicable after the release of new versions of the software, and to
353    provide technical support to you by electronic mail as quickly as is
354    reasonably possible. We do not guarantee that we can resolve every
355    problem, especially when third-party components are involved, but we will
356    make every reasonable attempt to do so. We undertake to advise your
357    designated contacts from time to time of new releases, important
358    developments and other information that may be of value.
360    Termination: The licensee may terminate this license at any time by
361    notifying the licensor that he wishes to do so. The licensor may
362    terminate this license if the licensee can be shown to have breached the
363    conditions laid out in 'Obligations of the licensee' above. No refunds
364    for unused portions of a license period will be made on cancellation. On
365    cancellation, the licensee will be entitled to retain any copyrighted
366    materials received under the license provided our invoice has been paid
367    in full, and the licensee agrees to continue to remain bound by the
368    conditions applying to the use of those materials even after termination
369    of the license.
371    Renewal: Your subscription will automatically be invoiced for renewal a
372    few weeks before it expires. If you do not wish to renew, please contact
373    us on receipt of the invoice.
375    Fees and deductions: it appears to be common practice for some banks,
376    especially in parts of Europe, to deduct fees from the amount remitted -
377    we will not accept such deductions and will return payments from which
378    fees have been deducted unpresented. We require the amount paid to us to
379    be the amount shown on the invoice.
381    US Taxpayer information requests: we periodically receive requests from
382    US companies and organizations asking us to provide 'FEIN' numbers, or
383    other US Government identification numbers which are needed by the client
384    for compliance with US Tax Laws. We have contacted the US Commerce
385    Attache in Sydney, Australia, and advise on their recommendation that the
386    vendor is NOT a US Citizen, and is not resident in the USA for taxation
387    purposes. We cannot provide the information requested (we have neither a
388    FEIN nor an SSN) and requests for such information will not receive a
389    reply. We suggest you record that the vendor is a foreign national not
390    subject to US taxation laws.
392    VAT, Customs fees and taxes: As far as we can determine, the provision of
393    service under this license is not subject to VAT, Customs fees or other
394    taxes except for customers based in New Zealand, who are subject to the
395    New Zealand Goods and Services Tax.

425    list, and we absolutely guarantee that your address will never be
426    provided to any third party for any reason whatsoever.
428    What you ARE NOT ordering: Purchasing Pegasus Mail single-user order
429    forms does not entitle you to receive formal technical support from us.
430    You may access our automated and web-based FAQ (frequently-asked
431    question) resources, but no personal support is included in this price.
432    If you need technical support, please examine our support subscription
433    offering.
435    Payment: The only fee you pay is the fee shown in the order form. This

437    credit card. A proper invoice detailing your purchase will be posted to

717    receive an automatic reply by e-mail when your order is received.

719    We have attempted to keep the price of the Registration option as low
720    as possible, but in order to do so, we have had to apply a few ordering
721    restrictions:

723    1: We require payment of registrations by credit card. Note that
724       because we are required to submit our claims to the credit card
725       company in New Zealand dollars, there may be a slight difference
726       between the US dollar amount shown on the form and the amount that
727       is actually billed to your card; this variation is due to
728       fluctuations in exchange rates and is outside our control.

730    2: If you are a US corporation or any other US body which is required
731       to perform tax reporting on payments it makes, be advised that the
732       vendor is not US-resident for tax purposes and cannot supply you with
733       FEINs, SSNs or any other US Tax-related data. Requests for this

737       personal technical support for the program (whereas purchasing a
