  17. 1. Main points:

  19. - AVCutty is "Donationware". So I ask you for sending a little
  20.   amount, to assist the development of AVCutty.
  21.  
  22. - AVCutty is able to find scenes in AVI-files automatically.
  23. - It scans through the AVI-files and detects scene changes.
  24. - It copies each scene into a new, single AVI-file.
  25. - The process is lossless.
  26. - You can trim the scenes
  27. - "Mini-Editing-System": it is possible to save the defined scenes
  28.   in a given order into one AVI-file (eg. for export to the camara)
  29. - For the best results, each frame of the AVI-file sould be a
  30.   keyframe
  31. - Generating a HTML index of the defined scenes or the AVIs in
  32.   a directory including thumbnails

  37. 2. How much does AVCutty cost?

  39. AVCutty is based on the principle of donation. It is 'Donationware'.
  40. This means, that if you use this software, you have to send a small
  41. amount to the developer of this software (that's me:-). It is your
  42. part to decide, how much you will send.

  44. You can send me a donation by cash (a common practice is 15-20 Euro).

  52. If you prefer to send me your donation per bank transfer, please send
  53. an email to me. I will send you an email with my bank account. But
  54. please remember, that only the fee for bank transfers between the
  55. countries of the European Union (EU) is equal to the fee for a bank
  56. transfer inside a country.

  59. If you send me your donation in a letter, please write your post- and
  60. your eMail address clearly. If you send the donation per bank
  61. transfer, please send your post address in the eMail, in which you
  62. ask for my bank account. This will speed up the licensing process.

  64. The development development and support takes a lot of time. And
  65. you will save a lot of time, if you use AVCutty. So I think, a
  66. small charge is warrantable. For my own, private needs, AVCutty is
  67. more than sufficient. Such a donation would push my motivation to
  68. continue the development of further versions with new features. I
  69. would use your donation to buy the hard-/software I need for the
  70. developing of AVCutty.

  73. "Reminder"-Dialog. Futher, you will get support if you have a
  74. problem with AVCutty.
